Adam Hewitt:
In the past, when we had Pracs to do, which weren’t self-contained like this, you’d just be running around the campus trying to find the right resistors and whatnot, and obviously, it’s sometimes difficult.

Husnen Rupani:
DC circuits is perhaps the most fundamental subject of electrical studies. With the introduction of DC Pracbox, our aim is to make it easier for you to give your learners engaging practical DC circuits training. Let me tell you about three of the major problems most training facilities face and how the DC Pracbox solves them. Number one, student engagement. With DC Pracbox, you can do practical training almost every session. It has power resistors and a 5A power supply for high current exercises, transformers and Nichrome wires for IR testing and continuity testing, a wide variety of fixed and variable resistors and capacitors for training your learners in various DC applications and with more than 30 hours of optional practical exercises, you can be sure that your learners will be captivated in practical training.

Number two, flexibility and portability. Having a purpose-built classroom for every subject is not always possible, and moving the training equipment around is time-consuming and inconvenient. Keeping this in mind, the DC Pracboxes are designed to be lightweight and portable. Just a benchtop power supply can weigh five kilos or more, whereas DC Pracbox with all its components, a 25 volt five amp power supply and a solid build weighs just under four kilos and comes with an easy to carry handle.

Three, missing components. This is probably the bane of most trainers’ lives. Imagine you are about to do a practical exercise and a component is missing. You can’t do anything. It’s frustrating. In DC Pracboxes, we have put almost all the components you would need for DC circuits in one box, so no more wasting time looking for individual parts and components or feeling frustrated. Let’s hear what an electrical trainer has to say about the DC Pracboxes.

Adam Hewitt:
It gave me confidence to know that I could just pick up a Pracbox and everything is there. Everything I needed was there to plug it in and to show the students what they needed to do, and then they had that same confidence to do the same.
